Our next stop was Michael Collins’ birth place at Woodfield,Lisavaird and from there we headed to the site of the Kilmichael ambush. We finished off our visit to West Cork at Beal na Blath the place where Michael Collins was shot. Our thanks to Timothy Crowley for being a wonderful guide on the day. A great day was had by all.
